Installation of Linux | Linux Tutorial

In this article, we gonna see how we can run Linux or any other distributions on our system.

At this time, Linux has so many distributions and people get confused about what to choose. As Linux is an open-source Operating System, hence, many people makes changes to the source code and made his own distributions. 

Here, I will tell you to install Ubuntu or Kali Linux or you are feel free to choose any distribution of your choice. 

Now, everyone can't afford Linux or any other distribution as there primary window just like normal windows. 

So, here I am gonna tell you the way with the help of that you can install Linux in your system.

For creating environment we have to do the following:

    1. Download or Install Virtual Box

    2. Download Linux

    3. How to set up Linux on virtual box

Let's start.....

#What is Virtual Box and How to install it?

    A virtual Box is a software that we gonna use to install Linux on our system. It is software that will create a virtual environment for Linux to install and run.

For installing a virtual box: Go to the official site: www.virtualbox.org and download and install it.

#Download Linux: Go on the official site: www.kali.org and download the ISO file of the LTS version

#How to set up Linux on Virtual Box??

    Follow the steps:

    1. Step 1: Choose the system type

    -After installing the virtual box, click new

    -Write your system name for example kali or ubuntu

    -Select type: Linux

    -Select version: Linux

    2. Step 2: Select the amount of RAM

    -Here select the amount of RAM 

    -For example

        1024 = 1GB

        2048 = 2GB

3. Step 3: Hard Disk Setting

    -Choose to Create a Virtual Hard Drive Now, to make a virtual disk space

    -Then select VDI to make a backup.

    -Choose Dynamically Allocated

    -Now select the amount of hard drive size

4. Step 4: Choose the Linux ISO file

    -Now we have done from hard drive setting

    -Click Start to launch system

    -Choose your system ISO file from the system

5. Step 5: Install Linux and Make Account

    -Click on the install Linux 

    -And select Erase Disk and Install Linux

    -Then press Install Now
    

    -Now Make your Account

    -And press Continue

6. Step 6: Congratulations 

        Now you have Linux on your system

    

Note: If you are facing a problem with installing Linux on Virtual Box again and again then you can install VMWare. It is also software that will create a virtual environment for your Linux. And the steps are the same to install.
